I've watched the david lynch film "dune" and loved the style, the john harrison dune's filming wasn t as advanced sfx as lynch's however I loved it , the "children of dune" continues the story and is worthy of viewing. The books of course should be read to appreciate frank herbert vision , i think that the herbert fans will not be let down by this offering.
