I first bought a "Cherry" keyboard at a computer fair 'cos it was cheap and the keys had a positive and confirming action, just what I was looking for.
This brand is midway between the old "click" keyboard and the new membrane quiet type.
The kids like it as well.
I bought two as spare backup.
The original one become faulty for a while but is still in use. The cause was food entering the keyboard which could happen to any keyboard.
