Cher - Cher's Greatest Hits 1965-1992 (CD 1992)

Cher is one of the few female artists who have decades worth of brilliant back catalogue. I bought this particular greatest hits album which only comes up to 1992 as opposed to the current one that is right up to the present day because I like her older stuff. Every song on the album is instantly recognisable, my own personal favourite being Gypsies Tramps and Thieves. Up until recently I only bought CD albums if I really, really loved it but now that people are finding an avenue to sell their old CDs on sites like ebay, I have opened my horizons. I've always liked Cher but was never likely to pay £13.99, I got this one for £0.99 + postage and am very pleased with the product. I prefer male vocalists and Cher and Chrissy Hyndes are among a select few that break that mould for me. If you like your pop music leaning more towards soft rock then buy this CD, you won't be disappointed.

Cher is, as the sleeve notes say, a survivor, and she can certainly belt out a tune with feeling. From the early hippy hit with then husband Sonny Bono, via her duet with Meatloaf you get all the songs here that you'd expect from a greatest hits album.

It is a good reflection on the first 25 years of her career; you get all the power ballads and songs that you associate with her films, and makes up a good album for a romantic evening maybe.

The recording quality is good and it's the sort of CD you just ought to have in your collection.

I used to be a radio DJ and we had this CD in the studio. I played a lot from it and wanted it in my own collection. Brings back many memories for me.

You have to be a Cher fan to fully appreciate this cd,Mostly her old hits from the past and present, good easy listening.

This collection of Cher's greatest hits is one of her best albums. It includes all the best songs from this fantastic performer! I decided to buy it because I had lost my original copy of it!!!

this is a fantastic cd for anyone who likes cher. If you are a fan you will reconise every song from all her albums and it has been put into one album. It is great value for money and would recomend this cd to anyone.

THIS JUST adds to my cd collection. it was affordable so why not? i am happy with my purchase and intend getting more to add to it should the price be right.

An oldie but a goodie for all Cher fans. Some of her absolute classics all on one CD. Bought for old times sake!

I love chers music, i already have this on cd but i dont have the case so i am now getting all my cds which dont have cases with cases from ebay to save myself some money

If you like early Cher then you will love this CD. However be warned the Track " Bang Bang " is a updated version. Contains some rather sexy photo's of cher on the inside cover, well I thought they were.

love all of chers songs most of them older then me. the greatest hits cd is the best coz u got all the best ones all on 1 cd.
