Charles Aznavour - She (The Best Of Charles Aznavour) (CD 1996)

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to my Charles Azvnavour CD. I purchased it because it reminded me very much of important times to me in my teens, when I lived at home with my mum and sister and fell in love for the very first time, my then boyfriend, loved the song She.

I have been reminisicing lately, must be a sign of getting older, I also recently heard news of my first love and this sparked a little flame.

As I listen to Charles Aznavour, I hear a clear voice with passion and feeling.

I bought the CD because I wanted again to feel close to those people I love and loved, my mother died in December 13 years ago, so this was a tribute and accolade to her.

Ebay does reignite memories, it is not just about buying something you like.

I particularly like dance in the old fashioned way, a classic for me.

Enchanting, fabulous, timeless classic songs, great easy listening. Charles aznevour is fabulously talented, his lyrics are really outstanding and it's a greatr pleasure listening to.

I bought this to replace a much loved vinyl copy. Although this wasn't the exact same, it has a lot of the same tracks.
This was part of an order of 3 different CDs from the same supplier.
Excellent condition - new and postage was reasonably quick.

This is, in my opinion, a CD for women. The songs have great lyrics, are romantic, soulful and very touching. Charles Aznavour has been a favourite of mine for years and this is the best collection of his works in English that I have heard. She, Yesterday When I Was Young, Happy Anniversary, To My Daughter and of course The Old Fashioned Way are, of course, my all time favourites and are sung so beautifully on this CD. This is a CD to put on, lie back on the sofa, turn the lights down low and just let the music, lyrics and his gorgeous French accent flow over you. The only other recording of Charles Aznavour that I have is an old EP disc with 'She' on it and I am so glad that I came across this CD so that I could listen to all my old favourites.
