Chaka Khan - Epiphany

I bought this album on hearing one track "Through the Fire" on the TV, and found out that this and many other tracks was available on the Best of Album "Epiphany". It contains the most famous hits "Ain't Nobody", "I Feel for You", "I'm Every Woman", plus many other tracks I've never heard before e.g. "Papillon". The music varies from funky "I Know You, I Live You", "What Cha' Gonna Do For Me" (originally by the Average White Band), "Never Miss The Water", "Every Little Thing" (written by Gerry Deveaux and David Gamson (presumably of Scritti Politti fame?)) through to slower numbers, such as "Love Me Still", "The End of a Love Affair" and "You're Love Is All I Know" - which just go to prove the versatility of Chaka's voice.
As for the CD, it says it's a HDCD - in any case the sound quality is excellent - even though i'm listening through it as I write this on my tiny tinny computer speakers! All in all a Highly recommended CD for Chaka Khan Fans. Hope this helps.
