I have wanted to see this film again for a long time. T.V. ran a series of Catherine Cookson dramas a long time ago. This was one of them. It is a brilliant film and I am delighted with this one. Thank you.

) I think this addaptation is very good. Robson green is perfect as Rory. And its nitty gritty just like the book. i decided to buy this dvd because id seen the film years ago and its just great and i wanted it for my collection. good film, well worth seeing of you like catherine cookson.
