this is a fantastic Catherine Cookson novel, well written and very acted, it is quite long but in two parts, it captures the struggle of the working class and they managed to exist with little means, I love all her works books and the DVD' done form the television. if you are a Catherine Cookson fan don't miss this one.

This was a dvd I'd been searching for and it was one of the best I've seen of Catherine Cookson. Being in perfect brand new conditon and a very reasonable price it was a great buy which also arrived very quickly

A dinner of HerbsSaw the first episode on tv one sunday afternoon with the following episode to be shown the next sunday. Unfortunately I missed it so was very pleased when I found it on ebay.
