Cerys Matthews has a very unusual and appealing voice. The album is not as good as I expected it to be, but worth the money nevertheless.

i replaced this cd as i got mine nick't very pleased and at the right price !!!! and on good condision

I bought this item basically for the two tracks MULDER & SKULLY and ROADRAGE, an excellent cd, very recomended, although i could have bought the best of cd, i bought this to listen to the rest of the tracks.

i first listened to this album when it was released and liked it alot. years passed and cerys matthews, lead vocals appears on 'im a celebrity' whilst browsing the cds on ebay, as we all do, i spotted this and with memories of it bid and won my own copy. i did think it may have aged and lost its edge but i couldnt have been more wrong. it retains all the freshness of the day it was released. if you like this sort of music i wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

I feel this is the best of Catatonia with their best tracks Road Rage and Mulder & Scully on the same cd. 5***** for me anyway.

I have to say that Catatonia doesn't come under my favourite band's genre (I listen to Sonic Youth almost constantly for god's sake) but I do I believe this album is an 'all-rounder' album. It's like when you occasionally get an album with every song as good as the next and you get obsessed (well, maybe not obsessed) over this great album and don't listen to anything else but this album for a week or 2. This album has some pretty good tracks on it, I wouldn't say anything that would blow you away but there's a few great tracks on it that are lovely to bop along to :) But my favourite is 'don't need sunshine' which is kind of about that disorder where you're happier in the sunnier seasons but has great lyrics and a lovely tune. I love catatonia they're a great band and extremely underrated. If you like a bit of 90's music, then this is definitely your cup of tea, I especially like it as I grew up in the nineties and enjoy the nostalgia and memories that Catatonia brings. 'I am the mob' and 'Road Rage' are iconic songs of the 90's genre and were constantly on the radio at one point... but altogether very underrated and great to listen to.

As well as the beautiful vocals from Cerys Matthews, this album still (almost ten years after it's release) has a lot to offer. My favorite track has to be 'I am the mob' with such lines as ' I put horse's heads in people's beds, cause I am the mob' Other strong tracks include: Mulder and Scully, Road Rage and the interestingly titled 'Goldfish and Paracetamol' The title track has Cerys singing in her native Welsh and makes you want to sing along. Catatonia were a good band and it's a shame they split. Personally I think Equally Cursed and Blessed was a slightly better album than this one but don't let that put you off. If you like guitar-based indie-pop with great vocals and rip-roaring songs, this album is fore you. Buy it, you'll like it.

Made before Cerise had her respite break, this album was always great - it was excellent when it was brought out and brilliant now. 10 years on one can only wonder how they would've progressed if she (Cerise) wasn't so delicate? Or, would it've been good in the first place?

This is certainly one of the best albums of my teens, I have just played it in the car and got goosebumps, without a doubt Catatonia's best work.

This is a brilliant album that i lost during a move and have been scouring the shops for.I was sooo happy to find it at such a reasonable price and will definately use this seller in the future. thank you so much for the fast, cheap and efficient service, you are a *.

I had this album on cassette which I have mislaid, I then forgot what it was called, bought this cd by chance and its my missing album ! I think its brilliant particulaly the title track which is best played very loud.Would recomend it to anyone
