Casio TV-970 2.3 in. Handheld TV

I bought the handheld TV because I thought it might come in usefull; being on a train, stuck in traffic etc. On the whole the reception is pretty poor, however when you do manage to get a decent reception you can more or less make out what is on the screen although it does give you a headache after a while!

In summary, if I had paid top whack for it (I think some shops still sell them for £100!) then I'd be a bit upset, but at just over £10 it is still a bargain. It's simple to use, you can't store any channels but the scanner is OK and you can usually pick up all 5 terrestrial channels, with varying degrees of reception. The radio-type arial is a bit old fashioned, but for the price I paid on ebay I'm relatively happy.

The TV was great. Communication was good and the delivery was very fast. It was eextremely good value for money. when i am at work i no longer miss any of the races or the FA Cup which was great being a avid footballer supporter.

i think this is good cause if your late when fa cup final day starts u can pull your tv out.it is just like a normal tv but smaller .

It, s a great little gadget I really hate missing my fav programmes so I bought this item, so I can laze in the sun and still wacth my fav programme. the fact that it was a bargin price also helped. It works fine I was really pleased.

This is a great little tv that runs on batteries its got a really good picture and is small enough to pop in your bag.

Very compact, easy to use, with simple controls for volume and contrast. Works well on the move in the car, where you can usually get at least 2 channels very clearly. Normally you can get all 4 if you are static, and direct the ariel. All in all a good handheld tv and great gadget to take camping.

Good size screen and not too heavy. Im very pleased with my purchase and price and will buy elecrtical goods from ebay again with no worries.

It's so handy to watch while you do the washing up, and, being very portable you can take it anywhere in the house or even outside in the garden. If you want to, you can even watch it in the car - when stationary of course! So, there we have it, you can watch this little tv anywhere - period.
Even though the screen is small it still big enough to understand what is going on when watching a programme.
There is nothing that I really dislike - I mean, considering it only cost a total of £14.30 including shipping its not at all bad, what can you buy for 15 pounds these days. I suppose I only swear when the batteries go flat, so the answer to that is to use rechargeable ones. These tv's are one of the worlds best kept secrets, and for that I give it ten out of ten.

Great to use when your stuck camping or working with no TV.
Doesn't really pick up Channel 5 but a good little alternative when no TV available.
Picture is pretty good as well.

great tv u can take it camping or fishing great picture i would be nice if it came with main plugs and car plugs to watch it but all in all a great little tv

its good a big design thought for such a small screen but its was worth the price! it may take 30 seconds to load a channel but once it has connected you get great signal.

great for "not -miissing- something" also if you are not a techno-nut [i-pod/mp3/camera stuff] ,so simple + now a cheap item due to aforesaid gizzmo s superceeding them,,and they make a good surprise gift!!!

Excellent little piece of kit , watch telly anywhere,I bought it to use in hospital initially but i use it on journeys and camping, normal batteries last a few hours but i bought rechargeable high capacity batteries which are great gave me 2 hours more viewing time. All in all would recommend this tv to anyone.

very very excellet service , would buy more as really pleased, good tv 4 travel. service , cant be any better, is excellent a fast, with great communication.
