Casio Exilim EX-Z750 Digital Camera

I purchased the Exilim Ex-750 after having owned a sony cybershot psc-73 that unfortunately broke, i can honestly say this camera outperforms the predecessor in every way! its far more compact, has a nice brushed metal case and the screen is far superior. The build quality in whole far surpasses that of the Sony also. The start uptime on this camera too is excellent, at under 1s for full start up including zoom. The picture quality is excellent, the menu control is easy to understand the the nice little ex button on the side of the camera allows easy and fast access to all of the common photographic settings. The video function on this camera is where it really excels though! although the sony having 30-fps in MPEG vx fine mode, the quality of the casio recordings is even superior! with the quality of images being noticeably better than that of the sony and other cameras i have seen. and with the ability to hold some 68 minutes of video on my 2gb sd card the video (and the battery!) will last for all of video needs, and is of high enough quality to use the majority of times over that of a standalone camcorder!
Theres no need for any high speed sd cards either with this camera which is nice! my standard 2-gig Kingston card records the highest quality of videos available.
The docking station auto charge feature is nice as well, and the tv leads that come with it are a nice feature as well for viewing slideshows and videos on your tv! although i would of liked a travel charger also, although i must say the battery life is excellent at 300+ shots.
All in all this is an excellent camera and i would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a high spec, well built camera with outstanding video quality! and at a price that wont break the bank!

I've had this model of camera before and it was the Best camera I'd ever owned. Unfortunately I damaged it and the replacement I got (different brand) does not give the Excellent photo results of the Casio Exilim z750. As the Casio Exilim z750 is a discontinued model, I was very happy to get this secondhand Mint condition replacement. 11/10
