It is a nearly flawless presentation of a film that has set the standard for "timeless." Without contest one of the most broadly appealing films ever, Casablanca only gets better with repeat viewings. Each instance reveals new details in the performances, dialogue, and direction that have made it both an enduring masterwork of film craftsmanship and a genuinely stirring romantic drama.
