Lots of encouragement to anyone attempting a home restoration, I felt some aspects were not given enough in depth coverage and the painters silly faces were a little tiresome, but the end result was first class.
I bought the dvd having seen most of the series but the dvd gives me the ability to go over any part as often as I like til I know I'm going to get it right.
I now have my own E Type which I will shortly be starting to restore and this dvd will be a great help both with techniques and the incentive to see it through to the end, although these projects never come to a true end do they?

Great dvd vary good watch loved it.will have to watch the rest of the colection my be the bike is bourn and the one Mark re builds an old harly davidson.

Interesting, funny, inpormativeThis is a made for TV program and was on discovery channel a few years ago. Mark the host used to be a Vet and some how managed to get into motoring and engineering. It starts off with Mark looking for a old Jag to restore and what a shed it is! Mark has a unique sense of humor and is evident straight away, his wacky style and lack of knowledge is funny but he shows you how to restore the car from start to finish. Little hints and tips for the viewers makes it more interesting, in the sense that if you don't know anything about cars he makes it understandable. Well woth a watch for anyone even if you are not restoring a car. Mark also has in the "is born" series A plane is born, A car is re-born, A helicopter is born, A Kit car is born and ofcorse this one a Jaguar is born.
