Canon PowerShot Pro 70 Digital Camera

This Power-shot Pro 70 is a really early digital camera and only has 1.6 mega pixels, BUT it came with a 380EX flash which I had been trying to buy as a single item ..I got the lot for what I was prepared to pay for the flash alone!

The camera has a macro facility so I may well keep it, dedicated to photograph family history documents. It is easy to use and works well . The package came with a flash card reader too and unopened software which were junked. My computer reads the image data directly from the flash memory card.

Otherwise look out for it on eBay for sale again.

My normal camera is EOS 350D with 8 mega pixels and the new 380EX flash works remarkably well.

Very good camera, even for one of this age, only drawback is no flash, which would not be a problem if a standard flashgun worked on it, but no, only a relatively expensive one with the right configuration works. Otherwise this pro70 takes moderate size pictures on a par with up to date dslr for amateur hobbyists.
