Came across this product whilst searching for a USB numberpad to use with my laptop. This is so much better - not only is it a standard solar powered calculator, but, when connected to the PC, you can either set it to use as a standard number-pad, or else use it in calculator mode and send the results of any calculations straight to the spreadsheet/document you are working on.
Ideal for use with a laptop - if you want to use it with your desktop, and have a tower base unit you will also need either a USB hub or an extension cable, as the one supplied with the calculator is not terribly long.

Essential Laptop/Desktop Accessory
) Having tried a number of external keypads for my laptop, I was looking for one that had a number of features. The old keypads meant that I had to unlock the numbers is I needed to type any of the letters that linked to the numbers, this is time consuming and frustrating. I then discovered the Canon LS-120PC Scientific Calculator, which is the best thing I have bought in a long time. This is a USB keypad for a laptop, a stand alone calculator, and while connected to the laptop can either be used as a calculator and the information then transferred to the program you are working in, or as a keypad to enter data into a program. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a calculator as it has multiple functions to meet the most demanding needs.
