Why buy this camera body????

The 1D MKII N was introduced by Canon AFTER the 1D MKII so should be considered a newer model with improvements to the preview screen and the speed at which images are transferred via a buffer to one of the two types of memory storage cards that can simultaneously be fitted in the camera body. First impressions of holding and operating a 1D MKII N camera is that it is awesome and not a toy. No plastic bits!!! It is tough and heavy, and that means stable when you depress the shutter. I've used 10D, 30D and 5D, and the problem with lightweight cameras is the tendency for them to move when pressing the shutter. This advanced camera will produce a very high proportion of keepable images from every shoot, mainly because of its accurate metering and its capacity to be configured to shoot in different ways. Still objects and moving objects require very different approaches and this model is able to do both. Shooting moving objects is helped by the amazing 8.5 frames per second facility, and the inbuilt microprocessors predict and calculate the position of a moving object in each frame of a continuous burst so that re-focusing takes place automatically. It can also re-caculate the exposure on each frame: - even at this high speed. The three LCD screens provide previews, settings and control information very clearly.
At todays secondhand prices, buyers have the opportunity to own the very best professional equipment and I doubt you would ever consider taking a backward step to downgrade to a lower specification model. I tried and regretted it! Don't be fooled by the current releases of new Canon bodies. These are targeted at beginners who are just buying into Digital Single Lens Reflex bodies. Buy a 1D MKII N and notice the difference straight away.
