Canon eos 10d

Having recently converted from film SLR's to digital I was simply amazed at the choice available to the budding photographer in the digital field. Not being especially blessed with funds it was obvious that I would have to choose from the so called pre-owned market.
Being a user of Canon for a number of years I had several lens's in my possession, thus I opted to plump for a Canon DSLR> Which one to choose?
Perusing several web sites which gave both limited and in depth reviews of most if not all of the DSLR's available, my choice narrowed down to the Canon D60 or their 10d. Both being similar camera's with the same sensor and 6 million plus pixels, and both seeming having similar operating features and layout, I chose the 10D as its chassis was entirely metal and not a mixture of plastic and metal.
The camera is a joy to use having a very fimilar layout to my film SLR's, and I must say that the photo's that I have taken to date do not disappoint in any way whatsoever, and are certianly on par with non digital film particularly reversal film. Some might say that digi photo's are better than film photo's and I certainly cannot argue with that!!!!
A good buy?? Most definitely YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
