Canon EOS-10D Digital Camera.

I was looking for a digital camera to replace my film SLR camera. I was amazed at the price of the 10D. Only three or four years ago you'd pay over £1,000 for this camera. I particularly like the cameras build quality, such rugged strength attracted me as it would have stood up well to use to date and would give me years of trouble free use. (I hope)
This camera has all the features that my old film camera had plus all the advantages of a digital camera such as disposal of snaps that did'nt turn out. One draw back of the 10D is the cost of good quality lens as they are all still current and command high prices, still thats hardly the fault of the camera!
At least everything that you could possibly need is readily available for this very popular range of cameras.
Another plus for the 10D is the operating system. Although it is five years old (in its early form) the controls are vertually identical with the current range of top quality Canon offerings such as the 1D, 20D, 40D etc., so in the future if one decides to upgrade the controls are the same. I'm still a novice and I am still discovering the many many features that are built into this very sophisticated piece of machinery. If everything I bought was as much fun to use as this camera I'd be very happy.
