Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM for EOS

this has to be one of the best lens in this price range. picture quality is very good and also its light too. so you can take it everywhere with you.

Tried the lens yesterday under various lighting conditions
Plus points:-
1) Light and compact.
2) works well under poor lighting conditions.
3) covers the popular focal lengths in 35mm photography.
4) Ideal for studio work.
5) Image stabilisation makes up for the slower widest aperture and works well
with very slow shutter speeds.

Minus points:-
1) Quite a lot of movement in the barrel.
2) widest aperture only f3.5.

Lens was purchased to fill a gap in my lens's focal range and uses the same image stabalisation system employed is the same as the lenses that I already own. The lens covers the focal lengths used for either wedding or portrait images, it also is compact enought to fit into my rucksack and light enough to keep weight to a minimum whilst on overseas visits. I have usedf canon's EOS system for many years and this lens is equals any canon equipment that I already use. Initialy I am very pleased with both the price and the quality of images produced.

excellent all round lens which works well with my 40d and such a fantastic price at least £150 pounds cheaper than the high street.
