Absolutely worth of buying and watching for any fan of "crime" genre. But also for any other "non-friendly" viewer of actions and hordes of blood. The series is not only about that.

There are to many CSI's out now with New york and Miami aswell. There is only one William Petersen. He is one above the rest. How does he know so much information. lol.

Having all the other CSI Vegas series sets it was natural I bought this. I keep thinking this season/half season can't be as good as what has gone before but they are, well at least very very close. I keep waiting for them to run out of ideas but they don't seem to do that. Sure if you have seen CSI before you know what to expect in this one but that shouldnt put you off as the episodes are original in what they investigate and bring to the series. Yes some episodes are maybe better than others but none are fillers and each have their place in the storylines.

This season continues with involving storylines and contiunes to develop the characters as we have come to expect. The balance between the personal lifes and investigations again is perfect, unlike almost anything else on TV. The plots and themes shown throughout the seasons in many ways seem far to good for TV. This is certainly worth buying and you get the bonus of CSI New York episode one thrown in. If you like CSI this is a must buy and if you don't like CSI i'm guessing you havent really seen it yet.

Rather than a 'whodunnit' cop show (investigating witnesses/suspects), CSI explores the 'howdunnit'. CSI has been the number one scripted series in the Neilsen ratings for four years running. In 2007 nearly 84 million people watched CSI, making it the most watched show in the world.

over the past few months my gran has got me addicted to this and i can see why she likes it.i like seeing the characters solving how someone has died or a house fire started or catching a killer.its just amazing how forensic science is done.

Just a small note to say that im loving the new box set. I have no complaints or dislikes about it because I just love csi. Its the best ever.

I had the whole of this series bought for me for christmas, and its one of those series that you just want to watch another, then another. They always manage to keep it different, even though the techniques they use are the same. Its entertaining yet interesting to learn just what their job entails.
