Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command (DVD 2001)

This is a great film for all Buzz Lightyear fans... and it also features all our other favourite Toy Story characters including Woody!
The story is easy for children to follow, and its fun to watch for all ages. It doesn't live up to Toy Story or Toy Story 2, but it is still well worth watching!

This is an excellent piece of animation!!
It aparently took 3 years to complete!!!

Good unit price. DVD was region 1 but that was not an issue with most DVD players now.
It was an ideal purchase for my toddler son who is fanatical about anything Buzz Lightyear related. Perfect entertainment for a two anda half year old.

There was nothing to dislike about this DVD. The reason I bought it is because my son is mad about toy story and I thought this would be appropriate for him. It certainly was, he enjoyed it so much we had to turn the TV off after the 2nd time he watched it as he wanted it on again. Fabulous film for any age.

Great good versus bad action and you know that it'll be good because it's from Disney. My son has not let this disc out of the DVD player since it arrived and it was so refreshing to have a cartoon of a decent length (enough time to do the washing up, tidying up and cleaning up!).

Quite a few morals are included (working together, etc) so the kids get a great message too ...

The lack of decent extras (one comic book story) was a shame hence it didn't get an 'Excellent' score but it was a great DVD and I got it at a great price!

Buy this DVD for your son (or daughter) - it's out of the world!

This DVD is about the story of Buzz Lightyear only. Well worth getting for those little Buzz and Woody fans who have worn out their Toy Story DVD's.

My son many many years ago loved Buzz and we went to Disney Theme parks both in Paris & Florida where he had to go & find the characters.

So, just for a bit of fun as he was ill in bed with the flu I got this for him - which he found very entertaining. I must add though he is no longer a kid !!!

It could be a little frightning for some young kids though - especially when the lights go out at bedtime... so caution in hand it would be best for them to watch this during the day.

Excellent for any toy story fan. Item exactly how ebayer listed it. Came as described and keeps kids entertained and they loved it. Can be watched alone or with friends ansd family. Suits most ages.

My son loved this DVD but his original was lost in the old video (thanks to his baby sister). I found this on Ebay and it arrived quickly and safely - my son didn't even notice his one had been replaced!

GREAT FILM HAD TO GET ANOTHER COPY MINES ALL SCRATCHED DUE TO TWO LITTLE BOYS WATCHING IT,TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO THE FIRST TWO,BUT VERY INTERESTING,KEEPS ADULTS AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES ENTERTAINED .

We were hoping for something that would compliment the films, how disappointed were we. This is poorly written and poorly animated, it just felt like a horrible cash in on the popularity of the films.
Even as a cartoon it failed on alot of levels. My advice, avoid, unless you really are a die hard fan.

A must for all toy story funs (under 5 years old!!) My 3year old so loves this film and will watch it every day if allowed!!

Well, it was a bit strange a first being a 'cartoon' rather than the slick animation you expect from Pixar. Strange too that Woody and the gang are not there and that the only familiar voice was Tim Allen (plays Buzz). I suppose also that in the opening from Toy Story II Buzz's graphics are the same as the rest of the show, but get over that and you've got a great little adventure with Buzz and the Little Green Men plus some new side-kicks battling against Zurg.

My son watched this three or four times in a row - ok so not as many times as Toy Story or Monsters Inc, but then he turned Shrek and Ratatouille off.

There's also a strange song right at the end voiced by William Shatner, but that was actually quite funny.

My son loves this film, as he is a huge fan of the toy story films!!

I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday as he is a big fan of Toy Story especially Buzz Lightyear. My son loves this Film, and it travels everywhere with us. My son if he can would watch this 24/7. Great Film.

This item ws not what I expected , after watching TOY STORY 1 & 2. {this was in cartoon format, not annimated like other two}But it was a great film. It kept my 3 year old grandson happy. Thank You

Bought this film for my 3 year old Toy Story mad little boy. He pretends he is Buzz Lightyear, saving the world. After watching it many times in the first week of buying this film, he started to wake up during the evening saying there were scary monsters in the bedroom. I stopped him watching it from then on, and he is now sleeping normally. The film is classified as a 'U', but feel a 'PG' may have been better.
The story line is a little boring & lacks the excitement of Toy Story. The lack of characters in the film makes it a bit tedious as well. Bearing this in mind, a good film for young children from the age of 5 and above, especially Buzz Lightyear fans. I will be keeping the dvd to play to my son when he is older.

This is a cartoon adventure of Buzz Light Year, the space ranger not the toy!Not up to the same quality as Toy Story but lots of fun and just right for space mad kids.
