  songs of love and self-reflection

Came out at the same time as Human Touch, this was Bruce settled into life as a family man, writing songs about love and also a a few digs at himself (ie calling himself 'a rich man in a poor mans shirt' in Better Days and about buying a framed poster of himself in Local Hero with a couple of songs about life having shades of grey in Big Muddy. Adult rock for adults.

It has always been one of my favourite Bruce albums - particularly "If I Shoul Fall Behind", which I think might be his best song. Unfortunately my children lost my original CD so i had to buy it again.

The Sound on this Album is unique, its one of my favourite od bruce springsteen, its hard to believe but he is heavily influenced by Frank Sinatras' Music, telling from this album the lyrics are so meandering with the music, you just seem to get wrapped up into the whole of the ethos of the great man's sound!

This Album is a treasure and the way each song seems to tell a way of a path of a story where the songs are and the history is amazing, some of the tracks though can be hard to hear thats not the production, buy a top cd player and speakers and this will give this album what it deserves out put of the greatest sound.

LUCKY TOWN IS a great sound song, and you will get an album you will continue to play for a long time 5/5 A MUST!
