British Telecom SYNERGY 4500 TR Trio 1-Line Cordless Phone

We needed a new phone and this looked like the one for us as we needed 3 phones in the house. So far it has been excellent. I am very pleased with it.

I have tried a number of BT cordless telephones and this one is by far one of the best. The voice is clear and the hands free makes it useful for people with hearing problems as our parents have confirmed. The digital answer machine is also clear to hear and obvious when a call has been missed. We have purchased two sets so far and about to buy another. Adding ring tones to telephone numbers also allows easy call sceening so family members can be attached to given rings tones. The mobile phone SIM reader is handy to update the telephones phone book. There is also more interaction between handsets with time date and phone books which I like.

I brought the phones becauce i like cordless phones and the price was right,and mine had gone wrong.Iwas very pleased with seller as i had a fault with one handset, was sent a replacement straight away.

the sim card reading is fab, the tones are fab, the internal calling is fab! i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Upgrade from an older but similar system. This is much sleeker more bells 'n' whistles but equally easy to use. My benchmark 'The wife can use it', she dosn't like teccy stuff.

Absolute rubbish, as i have heard many times since purchasing the main phone is ok, but all the extentions are total rubbish. They are very poor quality, you can not hear the caller, it beeps and crackles all the time. So when the phone rings it's a mad dash to get to the main phone as you darn't pick up one of the extentions. Does anyone know of a phone system that actually works well?

In fact I was going to contact the seller and report that these phones are useless. They don't seem to hold their charge, sometimes don't answer when you press the green button and generally are proving to be unreliable.

Arrived ASAP in original box, and packaging. Wouldn't of known these were reconditioned!! Highly Right this seller, you can buy with confidence from my experience!

A really good buy, it works well and considering it is a reconditioned system these phones are great value for money. My old phone was giving trouble and I just could not afford a three phone system as offered in the shops.
I am truly pleased with my purchase.

I have purchased these phones now for the second time, I am buying them for my parents as they are easy to set up and simple to use and more so with sim card reader very quick to set up. I have passed them on to friends who they have purchased these phones and nobody can fault them. Once charged up they work excellently. Battery life very good and very clear phones. Never had any problems only replaced one battery (main phone used)...

Bought these phones as needed to replace my old ones and wanted an answer machine that I could actually see, and not one that only shows on the handset.
I find them vey good apart from the fact that the hands free facility does not seem to work all the time. Apart from that I think they were a good deal.

Most of the reviews I've read about these phones have been critical about the batteries running out too soon.I had the same problem when I started using them,sometimes they were cutting out halfway through a call,and I was ready to throw them in the bin.
However.I cosidered all the things about the phones that made me buy them.250 name&number list,caller display,sim card reader,text facility,base answer machine,copy facility between handsets,hands free facility,etc.I decided that I liked the idea of all these features and had a think about how to solve the problem.
The phones are issued with 750 amh batteries.I replaced them with 1000 amh batteries and now they are working perfectly,and so are all the facilities.Later on I might try an even stronger battery,one handset at a time,and see how long they last before needing a recharge.
Anyway,I'm now happy with these phones,and glad I didn't bin them.

good all round phones sim reader and transfer phonebook from one handset to another sleek design text messaging and several ringtones

This ebayer was quick with communication and kept me informed of what was happening, The phones arrived next day - you can not tell that they are refurb they look new and they do what they say on the box - well done, i would use again or recommend to a friend or family member.
The phones are so simple to use and i especially like the sim card reader and the simplitic menu which any body can use. Great buy !!!!!

Very good product with easy to use functions.
The only draw back is the selection of ring tones which all sound a bit strange, theres no need for a jazz ring tone on a house phone when a box standard ring is sufficient.

my cordless home phones were way past their best, i decided to bid for a trio of home phones, i won them at a very competitive price and was delighted on their next day delivery, they were described as ex-display or catalogue returns, so could not be described as new,they are fantastic, and the company i bought them from star-hyper-link. i would recommend to anybody, after sales correspondence terrific,an all round great buy,the phones themselves are sleek up to date with all the best of technology, i will certainly be looking for more bargains on ebay. norman wakefield.

For the price these are good enough phones.Nothing fancy, does what it says on the tin. Sim reader is a godsend, makes transfer of mobile phone contacts onto home phone very easy. Shiney Black is still in fashion so they look good. The built in Belt Clip is also very handy for when you put the phone on 'Hands Free', just klip it onto yer shirt and bob's yer fathers brother.Bargin.

I purchased these 3 BT cordless telephones from previous experience of the exact same model. The purchase was an excellent E Bay experience and we were very satisfied with the result.

Had seen same equipment in Argos and Currys. This was fraction of price (25% of store/catalogue price). Still to set it up but equipment arrived unmarked and delivered within 2-3 days.
