I like the build quality. I like the clarity of rececption. I like the feel of the buttons, and the colour gives it a serious look. I even like the fact that it is not so light as the newer ones.
Make sure you keep the handbook, cos you'll need it for every options you want to change in this phone, be it ring volume or tone. It's almost impossible to do anythin without referring to the handbook. My earlier phone developed a fault with one or two buttons not responding.

The reason why i bought these phones are because they are small, handy and the security on these phones are excellent, they don't take long to recharge and can be used for hours before the battery runs out, they are easy to use and very user friendly. Only 1 thing i have against this phone is that it has to many codes for changing the ring tone, volume, base ringtone etc. Other than that an excellent piece of kit.

Very reliable and good range. Uses standard batteries which are easy to replace at low cost. Bit old in the tooth now but a classic at cheap and cheerful prices.

In as new condtion, replaces my broken phone of the same model, with the ability to have two out going messages set up on the answerphone all the time.

I like this phone. You can operate it from the base staton as well as the handset. It is good quality. Clear reception. Long life. Easy to use and not too jazzed up.

BT Diverse 3016 Classic. Old but soundWhat do you like, love, or dislike about it? Why did you decide to buy it? So asks ebay for this review.
Likes?
We have had this and the smaller 3010 for over 5 years and they're still behaving well. We have more modern phones with more features - text, for example. This remains much more simple to use. It has a very acceptable range - 40 mtrs to the end of our garden without the sound failing. It appears to be very robust. We have a brick floor in the kitchen and the handset has had quite a number of 'bounce' tests without failing, breaking or cracking.
Love?
My wife could use it out of the box. She hates my buying 'gadgets' and is a technophobe. The simplicity in normal use with straight forward buttons, no rocker switches to press the wrong way, earned me 'a gold star'.
Dislikes
Four really. It is a bit bulky by today's standards but this has a benefit when looking for it or feeling for it down the back of a sofa! Secondly Programming this machine is not intuitive - but it's the same on the latest phones too. The instructions are quite clear though. Thirdly the battery compartment cover is a bit tight and a pain to remove - but that means you wont lose the batteries any time soon. Lastly Siemens (the maker) provide a belt clip which is a good idea but not really good enough given the size of the handset. It's easily discarded.
Why Buy?
It was a snip. These phones have been a great success for us and seeing one for sale at £10 inc postage, I couldn't not get it.
The specification is still available on the web if you want all the geeky bits.
I recommend this but is isn't so young any more so question closely re. returnability and damage/scatches/sound quality before buying on the web.
