British Telecom AquaTriple - Cordless Phone

these phones were purchased in good faith that the description on the sellers page was true and accurate to fact about the condition and facilities available on the phones.
upon receiving the phones i plugged and charged them up, they didn't work. there was no instructions within the box to show how these should work. i finally figured out that they needed configuring to the base unit. this i did and managed to make a call but was unable to receive calls ie answer the phone when it rung. i found out i had to configure it for each time i needed to use the phone.
then the answering facility has never been available even after configuration. this was the initial reason for purchasing the phones as i didn't have an answer phone.
i am now out of pocket and left with a product that is not fit for purpose despite the description of the item stating that these facilities were available.
i conacted the seller and informed them, they basically told me that if i had any questions i should have contacted him. he said he would send new batteries, as the ones within the units don't hold their charge, this was promised over a week ago and still nothing.

The telephone is working perfectly, excellent price and excellent service from the customer. It was well packed and arrived safely with no damage at all.
