Bring It On (DVD 2001)

Bring It On is sweet, funny and clever, with some of the best cheerleading cheers and routines you're likely to hear and see. It's hard to imagine a romantic teen comedy with any substance, but this film is of the highest calibre in it's genre, and well worth watching, almost the Mean Girls of 6 years ago. It is also one of those rare films like Dirty Dancing that you will want to see again and again, so I recomend buying it, rather than renting. Bring It On follows the Toro cheerleading squad, headed by Kirsten Dunst, who, after recruiting bad girl Eliza Dushku, find all their cheers have been ripped off from a rival squad, the Clovers. The Clovers, for the first time, are planning to enter the competition the Toros have won for five years in a row, and they're angry about their cheers being stolen. Competitiveness, comedy and lots of cheering ensues, with a predictable, but fabulous, ending. The DVD has loads of extra or special features, although my criticism falls with the trailers, where there are many scenes not in the film or the deleted scenes section. This film is perfect if you're planning a girls night in with lots of ice-cream. It's also worth a watch for Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, as both Faith(season 3 onwards) and Glory (season 5) have major roles in it. The acting is good, although none of them shine, but who cares when the cheers are so catchy?

we have seen this film before and it was great, my dad has always wanted this film (because of the cheerleaders lol)so i brought it for him as a preasent.

The DVD is really good fun to watch and does not take the story line over the top, with areas where it is mickey taking of itself and the characters.
There is some bad language so definately recommend a minmum of 12 yrs old to watch.
Overall the film is easy watching and very enjoyable.

bought for my daughter. she loves the cheerleading sequences and she can relate to the bitching involved. it was enjoyuable and she has got all the other films in th series too.

For a film that is rated so highly it's not much cop. Not particually funny and an obviouse plot. More teenage girl orientated than the usuall.

love this film its way better than the sequels, good feel good film and you kinda wanna get up and dance with them, its not too cheesy considering its a chick flick! awesome film and a rewatchable

I love this film. It is very entertaining and suitable for the whole family (possibly not the man of the house, or so he'll let on!).

was a fun film, remember when it first came out. Now step daughter has started cheerleading, she wanted something to se about cheerleading... bought for the kids.... HONEST!!!!!

Exciting movie exploting the real situations ina ghetto town of the US. I like the lfely characters and sounds of real rnb music in the back ground. What a way to potray lfe!

The DVD is based on a cheerleading team in America, and as a girl i am into my chick flicks. The DVD was full of action (well girly action) with romance and the preasures of wanting to win. I had some laughs throught the film as they preformed some stupid dances. The story is fundementally about dancing so if you like dancing you will love this. They also do a second film so if you like this then buy that one as well.

this is a fantastic film with the cheerleading especially the singing as well. i would recommend this film to anyone of any age if they are into cheerleading.

Have always liked this film since it came out in 2001! If your into dance films like Save The Last Dance/Step up then you will most likely like this! Everyday life story with good actors & a great story! Will make you wanna get up and start dancing :)

always loved this film since i was younger, one thing about it you can never get bored of it you can watch it over and over again with all the catchy songs. ITS ACTUAL GREAT WOOOOOO A*************** film =)x

i watched it as a child and loved it, so wanted to wonder down memory lane,lol!! fun film good for a laugh!!

have watched this film that many times am nearly word perfect!superb family entertainment.a real must have.dont be put off because its about cheer leading,its got a good storyline and you will be glued to your seat from start to finish.

This, along with all the others in the series, is one of my favourite films. If i was an american teenager (i'm not, i'm a scottish mum of one) this is exactly what i'd be spendin every wakin moment doin. The music is bouncey, the script may be a tad cliched an the plot lines are very predictable but i still love everythin bout it.

i decided to buy this dvd bring it on as i have seen it so many times over the last 5 or so years i love it so decided to look on ebay to c if i could find it and i did i was over the moon.
i bid on it stait away and won a bay later.

This is a great story of team work and has awesome gymnastic scenes! Exciting and energetic dvd! A must see!

I had alrady seen the film, which is why i was desperate to buy it! A great cheerleading film, what more can you ask?! Cheesey music, and the dancing is inspirational!

Very dramatic at time, perhaps a little OTT, but hey that's a girly chick flick for you!
