Good if you really like Bright EyesCassadaga is a better bet, but this album is quite decent. The later tracks in the album are more upbeat.

Awesome album!!
) This has got to be one of the best albums ever! I first heard it 2 or 3 weeks ago and I haven't stopped playing it since. Every song on it is brilliant, no weak ones.

) All I can say is that this is the best Bright Eyes album in my opinion, only the latest "Cassadaga" comes close. I was going to say it compares with Dylans "Blood on the tracks", but actually it stands on its own pretty well. Emotionally charged, uplifting, fantastic lyrics and one I play again and again and again.

The better half!The other half to "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn", "I'm wide awake..." is more of an acoustic album, and as such stings to my soul more. Digital Urn contains more in the way of electronic jiggery noises in production, but Wide awake seems more clearer, and Conor Oberst voice more prominent throughout. Which in my opinion is a good thing! A beautiful album with some brilliant songwriting throughout. Definitely worth a listen, and easily one of my most favourite listens at that!
