This is a funny film. Hugh Grant, Renee and Colin Firth make this into a great watch.

Bridget jone's diaryAn excellent film, its so funny and real.All the actors in it are fantastic, being a huge hugh grant fan i definetly was not dissappointed with him in this film! And for a change he plays the bad guy. But still plays the role just as good!! the second one is just as good! Full of the same characters and equally as funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have to admit the main reason i love this film is because of colin firth and hugh grant but it also helps that the film itself is excellent. its very witty and well written and i think that there are aspects of bridget jones in all of us women.

This film is great, a classic that can be watched over and over again. The film is a great film for women to watch alone, with friends, or with family, full of laughs and great witty jokes. Even better when watch with Bridget jones diary two which is just as good as the first film.

If you csn find it at a bargain price on e-bay don't miss out.
I have only met a hadful (excuse the pun) of women that don'y identify with Bridget. Memorise as much as you can to use the chat up lines to perfection.
Rene is beautiful and someone should charm her character and sweep her away.

Decided to buy this as I only had it on video and wanted the DVD. It is a classic and I never get tired of watching it. Brilliant acting, funny lovable characters you can believe in, the perfect 'mum's night in' movie. Even more perfect with a bottle of bubbly and box of choccies.

This is a fantastic, must see movie for any girl, whether you're 6 or 66 anyone can empathise with the Bridget's character. Cuddle up on the sofa with a bar of chocolate, a bottle of wine and a box of tissues for a great night in!

Having watched the film on tv recently and laughed my head off at most of it, I thought it would be a good dvd to add to my collection for either girlie nights in or just when I needed cheering up! I'm not a big Hugh Grant fan although I really like Colin Firth but I think the entire cast did an excellent job and Neil Pearson was just a fabulous bonus!! Best line in the film?...the very last line uttered by Colin Firth - priceless!!! Do yourselves a favour and get a copy!! Karen.
