Braun Pocket Twist plus 370 Electric Shaver

The Braun shaver I bought on ebay is the third of its kind I have owned. That statement contains both the pros and the cons. If its the third, I must like the thing - and if its the third, something must have gone wrong with the other two!

I like it for its plain, flat, simple design which packs easily into pocket or briefcase. It is powered by AA batteries, which means no bulky chargers. The twist system neatly and usefully locks the switch so that it doesn't operate while stowed. The actual shave is surprisingly close for such a simple device.

It is not that robust. It'll stand up to the stresses of travel all right, but after a year or two, something weakens and breaks. The first one had its switch break and the second one, the battery retaining cover went. Also, batteries seem to flatten when kept in it, despite being locked Off. I now keep the batteries separately and only insert them when required.

But, at that price, these faults are acceptable. A tenner or so every eighteen months? Well its almost a disposable, isn't it?

i dont like any think a bout it as it dont do the job it dosent cut it pulls money down the drain but now i got to make it up again £20 + lost wont be looking to get one from this man again
