Book Of Shadows - Blair Witch 2 (DVD 2001)

I stupidly thought it was a genuine follow-up to the first film. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with it - it's just a load of vaccuous teenage bo***cks and I think it's very sad that such a genuinely unsettling and atmospheric piece of film 'sculpture' - screaming for an intelligently crafted sequel - has just been allowed to sink into the choking depths of 'gratuitous-cheap-thrill-deprived' obscurity. What a wasted opportunity. I'm just a sad old git of 51 and teenage kicks mean absolutely nothing to me, but I've been to the Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle, and as far as I'm concerned no so-called special effects or dramatic music or screaming can compare with the old ragged poppet doll found stuck up a chimney to ward off spirits, or the sound of nothing but the snapping of twigs and complete LACK of music in Blair Witch 1. Hey guys I'm sorry - I just don't know how else to get rid of this thing that keeps saying 'You can review 1 item' - except just do it! If there's any jobs going just let me know as I'm sick of being a van driver.

From the horrific cirucumstances of Heather Donahue and her two followers, Joshua Leonard and Michael, getting brutally murdered in the conspiracy that was 'The Blair Witch Project', expectations for the second one were pretty high on the factor.

As I started to watch 'Book of Shadows - Blair Witch 2', it became apparent that resurrecting an old topic two years down the line with some Blair Witch wannabes was not a good idea. Although the cast did work very well together, the storyline itself wasn't up to much - most of the unravelled secret at the end was quite confusing, and the fact that the Blair Witch had posessed them all into turning ritualistic dances into death manouvers was quite disturbing.

Although Artisan are involved with the second movie, there was and will be only one Blair Witch - and it was not in this film.

Bair Witch 2 has actually got a story. If you are a fan of the first film you may not like it as it is a film rather than a 'documentary style' hand held camera flick. Personally I hate those!!!!!!

i have seen the film in the past but had forgotten how good it actually was, if you are in to this sort of thing then i would definately reccomened watching it!!

I brought this film as i'd seen the first and was told that u see the blair witch in this one very dissappointed as you don't found it very similar and not overly intersting not a brilliant film!

The dvd arrived as agreed well wrapped and in good condition. no problema at all. good e bayer. would buy any product of again.
