What Is Sony's/Dylan's problem ??

The music, on the whole, is superb - especially the Oh Mercy outtakes - but the price is outrageous. The deluxe package is nice, but for £80-£90 I would expect an additional 5 or 6 CDs or a couple of harmonicas or something - anything - to justify the price. The single sleeves book is nice, and reflects a current interest in collecting rare sleeves, but has nothing to do with Tell Tale Signs, or the Bootleg Series. It's a bad marketing ploy that you can imagine being the result of a board meeting question, 'so, any ideas on how we can jack up the price on this one?'. The book of single sleeves could have been part of a separate release, like a box with a few reissues of the rarest sleeves with the records, which could actually save fans money by removing the temptation to bid big $$'s on ebay for the originals. I also don't understand the reason for including several average live recordings, when there are still more studio outtakes from this period (most notably Love & Theft, which is not represented by any studio material here - why?). My last quibbles are: the 3 CDs would have worked better in chronological order, to mirror the first 3 CDs of BS material; why include the soundtrack songs - which are already available - on a set that you're charging so much for? and, why only 2 Oh Mercy demos? They're the best thing here!
