I loved this movie when I saw it at the cinema, and it was equally good on DVD. A real feelgood movie.

The Boat That Rocked DVD - BUY IT NOW!
Review created: 05/10/09

Having hired it for the night from a local hire shop and enjoyed it to bits, then bought the soundtrack, I decided it just had to be one of those you HAD to have a copy of at home. Its a classic funny with some beating tunes from the 60's...way before my time of course! All my favourite actors too! BUY IT!

  But only a little bit

Having once served as a crew member on the infamous Radio London, I could identify with some of the happenings in this film, however, we were a much more profesional Radio Station than even Caroline, and much better than 'Rock Radio' as portrayed within this film. However, it was worth watching even for all the inacuracies, and yes it was meant to be a comedy.
