Blue Cheer are the originators of numbskull, neolithic, knuckle scraping rock of the first order. The first album is perhaps the ultimate statement of savant stupidity whilst the second is slightly more developped and probably the true classic of the Blue Cheer discography. Highly recommended.

This record marks the birth of heavy metal. The whole album is full of heavy, sludgy, reckless riffs. Hard to believe its from 1968.
