Blow (DVD 2001)

This is an excellent film. Based on a true story of George Jung's drug selling days when he started selling marijuana then became the biggest colombian cocaine importer. It stars Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.

Must see film.

I decided to buy it cos it had j depp in it :-) and was not disappointed. p cruz played a good part too.

This is a must for anyone who enjoys true stories. Johnny Depp plays the main character and plays him well, he sounds like him, he walks and talks like him, as towards the end of the movie you go to the scenes and you see exactly the character in real life who is still surving a jail sentence now, Its truthful, sad and also violent, well worth watching!!!!!!!!

I am a huge Johnny Depp fan and when I heard he was going to be playing Geoge Jung (world most notorious drug smuggler) I had to see this for myself. It most certainly did not dissapoint! The film rolls from the psychadelic 60's up to the "Naughties" accompanied by a great Rock 'n' Roll soundtrack. It shows one man (Johnny) who you grow to love despite his numerous rule breakings, criminal affairs and his love of illegal drugs.

A must see for anyone!

Great film Johnny Depp plays a cool drug dealer and is outstanding in his acting as always. This is a great film for all of those who like to know about the start of the drug culture in the 60's... Not that I'm endorsing it!

This film has a similar theme to that of Scarface, an all-time classic. I rate this film as 5/5, a masterpeice. Great story line with good twists all the way through. In 20 years this film we be looked at as one of the greatest films ever released.

Mega Mega Mega. Ray Liotta and Johnny Depp play father and son like it's in their blood. The natural 21st century successor to Goodfellas and Casino. Depp's George Jung is like Pacino's Scarface Tony Montana with slightly more brain power, less pent up aggression and better grasp of the English language.

Its a true story about a dude who import cocain into the states. Great ators great plot great move. One of the better ever prodused

Johnny Depp is fantastic in this movie. I liked that it showed the negatives of cocaine, and didnt make it seem glamorous.

A must have for anyones collection - a modern scarface - I love this film. A few great twists and lots of drama.

this a great film with brilliant actors and actresses. well worth watching one of my favourites. I had already seen the film before buying it and wanted very much to add to my collection.

This is a true story of the ups and downs of a man played by Johnny Depp who does another brilliant performance as George Jung, he comes from a working class family and decides to write his own destiny and swears never to be poor. He moves to california and descovers the drug world and becomes the worlds largest supplier of columbian cocaine, but, this comes as a great cost to him, in the end his own mother has nothing to do with him as does his wife and ends up serving life and is not due to be released in 2015, this is a very powerful and moving story that'll make you want to watch it again, another brilliant film to add to my collectin of Johnny Depp films, his performance is outstanding, a must have to all you fans out there.

brilliant film , showing all the good and bad sides to a drug dealer, johnny depp played the star and his wife penelope cruz , the story line was excellant just showing how easy it was for this george jung to get involved with the columbain drug . he earned a lot of money and a trophy wife and in the end it all turned against him ,.

Firstly i love the acting in it, Johnny Depp is my fav actor, it really gives a good insite into this guys life-it was mad. I loved this film and now its part of my dvd collection. i really do recomment it, ive seen it about 5 times now.

i origionally decided to but this DVd because i am obssesed with Johnny Depp and i am trying to build up my collection of DVD's. the great thing was that with ebay there are so many of the same product available that you can find one quite cheap. i love the product have watched it quite a few times now
