I bought The Blob for my husband who is a Steve McQueen fan. The film is a cult classic and it was Steve McQueen's break through movie. The acting and character are fantastic. The Blob is the best character of the film.

) Indescribable... Indestructible! Nothing Can Stop It! One must say that the taglines for this ancient (half a century ago !)movie was quite right ! I defy anyone watching this movie in a REAL theater not having a look behind him at a particular moment ... For the connoissuers, I also recommend "The H-man" japanese film by Inoshiro Honda which in a kind of brother-film to this one.

THE BLOBI HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF THIS FILM FROM BEING YOUNG SEEING IT AGAIN BRINGS BACK A LOT OF HAPPY THOUGHTS OF THE PAST BUT AFTER WORKING AS A PROJECTIONIST FOR SOME 30 YRS I HAVE A LOT MORE FILMS I LIKE I DID THINK THAT THE REMAKE OF THE BLOB WAS VERY WELL DONE .
