Blink 182 - Enema Of The State [ECD] [PA] (CD 1999)

I have always loved Blink 182, I haven't owned many of thier albums, but this is one of the better ones for sure, it has some great upbeat music and funny lyrics (and music videos) showing why Blink were so adored, but now they have split and you have to wonder if Tom Delong is going to be able to take Angels and Airways the same distance, the band are a lot more serious and less up beat, but who knows. Any way this is a must have for Blink fans, or as a first for people wanting to listen to classic Blink 182.

I bought this album because it is one of my favorite albums ever, and i lost my copy when i moved house. i love the music, the artwork, everything about this album. If you are reading this review, and have never listened to this album, GO LISTEN TO IT NOW!! Find a way, because it is amazing.

personally i think that if youre going to buy an old blink 182 album, youre going to have to love it, otherwise whats the point in buying it really?
shows the progression of their music when you listen to this and compare it to their more 'recent' albums.

Blink 182's 1999 album Enema Of The State is without doubt an excellent album. Its fast upbeat and lively. The precussion in the album is excellent and varied giving a greater interest to the music. There are some interesting lyrics (watch out for the swear words!) and even better the cover shows a charming lady wearing surgical gloves!

I have been watching some music vids on Virgin Media on Demand. Came accross Blink 182 and remember hearing a couple of their songs and liking them. Some of the songs from this album were on the On Demand so I decided to buy it.

May well not be everyones cup of tea though.

**BEWARE** some moderate swearing on the CD.

This has always been my favourite Blink-182 album ever since it was released.

I really liked this CD. It is quite old but all the tracks on it are great. Definatley one of their best albums so far. x

I brought it as a present for my sister, not really my kind of music, but the CD was in excellent condision and delivery was really fast.

Great fun album. Look through the track list and you will recognise a number you have heard on radio/music TV which should be enough to get you to buy the album and the other tracks are what will make you love the album.

Some tracks are a bit amateurish but the good tracks are amazing. Blink 182 at their near best. Some will say that Blink 182 were better towards the end of their career but this album really is great.

This CD is just amazing, I could listen to all 12 tracks over and over again, there isn't one song that i dislike. Apart from the three famous songs (all the small things, Whats my age again and Adams song) the four best songs on this CD are Dysentry Gary (6), Mutt (10), Anthem (12) and Dumpweed (1). (This is a personal opinion but alot of fans agree).
