Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca MP3 Car GPS Receiver

This nav is easy to use, I have had top of range nav's which i use for work and this is as good as! Downside for me is gps delay sometimes,but once found its faultless, as with all nav's follow road signs and your common sense as it will take you different route's depending on the preferances you set it on.. Does not come with ac power adapter!This was a gift ,have road tested allover europe and it is very accurate..Hope this helps...

I bought this system for a European holiday and I can safely say that it never let me down. I had the UK maps in the internal memory and loaded the maps of Spain onto an SD card. I never got lost once, even in the centre of Madrid and Barcelona! This is my first Sat Nav and I am very impressed!

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing the Lucca, but Blaupunkt are a reputable company so took the plunge. Like anything else it has it's ups & downs.

Upside - Great route re-calculation, good maps & excellent exccess speed alerts
Downside - Not very intuative - no interative PC software / voice quality 2/10

Summary - There are better units available (I've had 2 others), but none of them do European maps & speed alerts for that money!

I thought that is a better equipment otherwise its good but gps going slowly and not work propely anyway recomend tom tom it is better then this... Thank you.

I liked the overall look of the product and very easy to use instructions only one thing I disliked was the mount. Because it was the right price and had all I needed to do the job it I wanted.

Good make, very easy to use, clear screen with lots of extra points of interest, ATM machines, Petrol stations, fast food outlets, etc, good voice instructions. This model is a 2007 version so the internal map is a little out of date. Updates can be installed via an SD card, so I now need a SD read/writer for my PC an a 2GB SD card. I could not find updated maps on the main website for this model, but they must be available somewhere. Only down side is the battery on this has expired, but hay-ho it all works in the car cigar lighter fine, may look into replacing the rechargable battery so I can use it hand held.
All in all very pleased with it, beats lisening to the wife holding the map upside down and getting us very lost - sorry ladies.
