Blake - Blake (CD 2007)

THIS CD IS FANTASTIC!! QUALITY MUSIC BY QUALITY SINGERS. 4 YOUNG MEN SING A MIXTURE OF CLASSICAL AND MODERN SONGS. SO RELAXING AND DEFINATELY WORTH LISTENING TO. THEY ALSO HAVE A NEW ALBUM OUT CALLED ' AND SO IT GOES ' WHICH IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST.

I like the group (Blake)and the cd was excellent value for money. There are also a wide selection available, even if these are older a;bums and no lomger available from the shops.

Whoever likes IL DIVO would probably like this one. I like it very much and can listen it again and again enjoying their music every time.

i bought this cd as a gift for my mother who likes blake it is in very good condition and was fairly cheap all round good value for money and no need to trapes around the shops and home and in comfort thats how i like to shop

Like the band very much and enjoyed the choice of tracks. Supplier is very good and the delivery cost reasonable. CD arrived quickly & in good condition.

I bought this because I saw them on TV and thought they had wonderful voices. When I looked at the songs on the CD I thought it was an excellent selection.

this is a very good cd, nice and easy to listen to, on the lines of Il Divo?G4, but not so heavy, a really good cd

I was watching "the last choir standing" on Saturday when this band were singing. i was very impressed by their voices and their harmonies. If you like "Il divo" you'll just love these guys, they will defo give "Il divo" a run for their money. Keep singing boys

If you like harmonious melody then Blake and their CD are the ones to listen to. All the tracks are excellent and it is one of those CD's that you have to go back to and listen all over again.

Decided to buy this CD as they are supporting Katherine Jenkins on tour this year.

Have not been disappointed at all, All songs are sung perfectly and if you love Il Divo then you will certainly love Blake.

The CD is excellent for relaxing to and I would recommend it to anyone who likes this style of music

The whole CD gives the impression that the group never needs to move out of third gear, and always has plenty in reserve.
Totally seamless changes of vocalist, mirrors the seamless & faultless changes of key. This album majors, as it should, on the strengths of the singers, as individuals and in harmony, with the musical accompaniment being of secondary importance, even though some very nice arranging of the instrumental score is obvious, and very pleasant.
For a first and debut disc, what a stunner.
Rarely have I heard such close & matched singing since the group 'Cantabile', who were very popular a number of years ago.
A CD to sit, listen, and get lost in, nearly a religious experience.

I loved all of it and disliked nothing. More wonderful voices, classically trained but easy to listen to.

Wonderful harmonies and not bad looking blokes! Clever interpretation of well known and less well known songs. Perfect to chill out to.

I heard a track on classic fm and loved it, got info from cfm, and searched on ebay, read list of tracks, loved alot of them, loved thier voices, cd very cheap.

I have to say that this was a disappointment. After all the advertising on TV I was expecting to be blown away. Instead I found myself comparing Blake to Il Divo and G Force - and they definitely came up wanting.
Pleasant enough, I suppose, but definitely short on the Wow-factor.
