Three students go into the woods to film a documentary about the Blair Witch in Burkitsville, Maryland.
That's it. No plots or twists in the story to distract you from waiting to meet the evil force.

You learn little about the three students as the star of this movie is the shadows and darkness in the witches wood. The tension builds gradually. 'You have to keep telling yourself that it is only a movie'. This reality is created by the shaky home movie style camera work that a student movie would have.

One of the most memorable scenes shows the actress producing real snot while snivelling into camera!

In the scariest parts of the movie, you do wonder how the students manage to keep filming.

Putting this to one side, you will find this movie will give you the chill you are looking for
