i loved the first film so i had to watch the rest.
these films are not for the family there a lot of blood in them
these are vampire films and there great

Blade 1 and 2 have it all the action the atmousphere and the right type of dark edged humour.3 tries but it doesnt have the same edge it tries too hard for gutsy laughs from the support characters and it just fails to pull it off.Worth buying for the first two and to have the collection and the 3rd is ok as long as you dont view it too close to the other two in the series.
I bought it as my son had the series and I wanted my own copy cheap and thats what I got paid 10 ish and saw it on sale in Virgin new for 30 so I was delighted.

All the Blade films are brilliant!! The special effects are very well done and Blade is definately the top Vampire killer!! Worth seeing....

People that tout "The Matrix" as a new milestone in action film making have clearly missed out on "Blade". The opening of the film in a nightclub is a bravura moment of horror meeting action like never before. What elevates the film into a class of its own, is that it goes on to top that opener with successively greater displays of action choreography melding with special effects.

"Blade" could have been yet another overblown blockbuster, but it differs in that its relentless nature builds excitement rather than smacking of desperate CGI-laced attempts to keep the audience interested.

Wesley Snipes is Blade, a superhero whose fight against vampires has been born out of a dark and sad past. He's up against Frost, a brash young vampire with ambitions that go against the wishes of more senior bloodsuckers, who have secretly prolonged the existence of their sharp-toothed kind for many years.

Snipes plays his superhero character with such aching coolness that you can't wait for the next dumb-ass vampire to get in his way. Such challenges are met with flurries of lethal kung fu and deadpan quips that are actually funny. These retorts reflect an underlying healthy sarcasm in the script, which is in turn beautifully exploited by Blade's mentor, Kris Kristofferson as Whistler.

The sardonic nature of the movie is further enhanced by the ability of the characters to poke fun at the ludicrous nature of the hyper-intense fights that propel Blade in his quest to rid the world of vampires. It's a journey that's enjoyably involving, despite the frenetic pace, and that's a rarity with any action blockbuster.

really great films lots of action,blood and wesley snipes plays a good part in these films well worth watching fantastic great buy for anyone who likes a good action movie.

In Blade, Wesley Snipes plays a person who was bitten by a vampire, but refuses to join them.
Instead, he fights them at their own game. Being one of them, he has their strength, and skills..
A good story line backs up the special effects and horror.

Blade 2 is another good film.
Wesley Snipes again makes the perfect bad guy/hero/vampire.
Due to some clever story writing, there are more for him to kill, after the first film.
Good action, but as before very gory.

By the time of Blade 3, or Trinity, to give its true name, I was getting a bit bored of the formula.
This may have been because I had watched them back to back.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, the films are amazing, the stunts and special effects are brilliant, gripping story, this is a film for the whole family, a must for any dvd collection,

I think everyone would agree that the first film stands out against the other 2 but they are all good enjoyable films.

As with all trilogies the first film introduces the character, the second develops them and the third ends there story but not there life.

All star casts throught and excellent stunts and fight scenes, along with blades (snipes) dry subtle humour as he dispatches vampires and humans alike in his quest to rid the world of vampires.

unlike most comic book films this one is watchable and enjoyable and almost believable. (there are vampires hiding in the shadows of day to day life and have been for years, and one vampire is fighting against them)
no super powers, no radioactive leaks or comets making you invisable.

only snipes can play blade so well. shame hes banged up, cant really see another blade film being made unless its a prison version.

I deceiced to buy this as it was the full trilogy which i have been after for quite some time. I've have watched all 3 now and love them all. It came in superb condition which i was also really pleased about.

I gave this trilogy 4 stars purely because the third film, the finale, Blade Trinity, does not quite live up to the other two films yet for the price I feel its not a bad investment.
If you like action, plenty of sword and silver bullet induced vampire death and violence then the Blade Trinity series is a great purchase. The first, and probably the best of all the films introduces us to Blade (Snipes) and puts a slightly different slant on the more conventional 'stake in the heart' vampire flicks.

Some of the action and fight scenes along the way are really good and the story although not totally necessary remains almost plausible and intact until the last film loses the plot a bit.

However I don't think you'll be buying these movies for the acting or great story line so I'm not going to be unnecessarily critical when there is no need for it. Instead I'd recommend to snap this box set up, as I've said before, its good value and you'll enjoy the mayhem.

I bought the trilogy as I love the blade films, The first two are better than the third though.
Blade 1,2 and 3 is well worth watching.

i bought this dvd box set as my hubby really wanted it, so i got it for his birthday. i purchased it at half the price it was in the shops for, and it was in new, unused condition.
they are all great films and it's nice to have them on dvd in a set rather than on video which is how we watched the first 2. good quality.

This item was brought for my boyfriend as a valentines day present. The packaging was exactly as described and condition of the item was superb.

What can i say about the blade triolgy... Any Blade or even Wesley Snipes fan will love them.
Snipes gives a supurb preformance in this film and the story is so easy to follow.
Love all three of them but as in most triolgy's the first is always the best.

one of the best trilogies. Usually trilogies never live up to expectations and are ofter dis-jionted. Not this one. each of the movies flows into the next almost seamlessly. Fantastic special effects and strong characters. If you can, you should.
