Album Notes 'Black Holes And Revelations' delivers a stylistic overhaul from Devon's premiere epic space rock outfit Muse. The follow up 2003's smash 'Absolution' looks to merge Matt Bellamy's trademark powerful riffs with dance beats to produce an upbeat album with influences moving towards Prince and Franz Ferdinand. Co-produced by Rich Costey (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) and including the single 'Supermassive Black Hole', and this special tour edition also features a DVD of music videos and live performances. | |||||||||
Reviews  MUSE : THE BEST BAND AROUND Everyone should own this album! It's possibly their most commercial album so far but there's lots of strange noises still going on to keep the most ardent Muse fan happy! The stand out tracks to me are the singles Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights Of Cydonia, Invincible and download single Map Of The Problematique. Other great tracks are Assassin and Take A Bow. I particularly love Invincible and the guitar solo which sounds like a dalek having an orgasm (I should imagine!). The bonus DVD includes the videos for Supermassive Black Hole, Starlight and Knights Of Cydonia as well as live versions of the same 3 tracks. I have seen Muse live and can easily say they are the best live act around but I will leave that to when I review HAARP! I bought this version purely for the DVD as I had already purchased Black Holes months before when it was first released and I am a bit of a completist but again I must say it was well worth it!
