This phone is a great-looking phone and lured us in with it's attractive design. The phone has worked well for about 6 months but usability was pretty poor from the start. The screen has very little information that can be displayed and the button icons make very little sense. To redial one of the last numbers you called, for instance, you press the right directional key with a light and dark circles interweaved icon. Both missed and received calls cause a little message icon to appear on screen that will only disappear when you have pressed the up directional key to view the caller's details and scrolled through every call you have missed / received and not previously scrolled through on the list. (Incidentally, to view the time of these calls you press the hash (#) key. I will never understand the logic behind that.)

The battery life is extremely poor now as the batteries are pretty small and don't seem to have been designed to last long. As with most things that look good, functionality always seems to suffer. On the whole, I don't think my next purchase will be another iDECT and I wouldn't recommend one unless you really don't mind replacing your batteries every six months, you don't care who has called and you don't ever want to redial a number you just called.

It is hard to write a review on a phone you never received as the seller has my money and the phone I am sup post to write about I have tried to get in tutch with people to let them know with but to no avail
