Binatone MR150 (8 Channels) Two Way Radio

It is an excellent article I use it when I go hunting to comunicate with my brother and when I go fishing with mty brother ,we can separate and still be able to talk to each other.
I deceide to buy this item because the price was really attractive.

This pair of Walkie Talkies suited my needs perfectly. I have an allotment close to home and using these allows my wife to call me when dinner is ready. The clarity is fantastic and the price unbelievable. My Grandson borrowed one and took it to his home, which is approximately 1 mile away, as the crow flies, and we were able to chat with very little distortion. Since then I have purchased two more sets, one for a work colleague, and one for my daughter to keep in touch with her children when out locally. FANTASTIC

Staffordshire Home Cinema is a UK based company that fits complete home AV systems. Our engineers suggested that they would benefit from communication over longer distances in customers houses. We brought a few sets of these radios on a test basis and they were so good we brought some more! We use rechargeable batteries with ours and they last ages. Can't complain with the quality that these give, a must buy for professional or fun use!

We wanted 2-way radios for foreign holidays so our children who are just about old enough to be off on their own could keep in touch without paying extortionate mobile roaming charges.

Ironically the name 'Terrain' 150 hints at one problem with these units - terrain such as imposing high ground and built up areas reduces the effective range of the two units (2 miles/3km in open line-of-sight) but we didn't need/couldn't afford the type of units issued to the military and emergency services and for the purposes we use them for they're excellent and invaluable.

These PMR's (I hate the name 'Walkie Talkie') are smaller than the average mobile phone so can be discreetly carried in a pocket which my wife does when she goes for a run.

So, unless you need to call in air or artillery support, they're well worth the money given the peace of mind they offer in a range of circumstance.

Oh, and the kids don't even need to be in the same room to bicker any more.

Required a two way radio for a car rally we were attending and did'nt want the extra exspensive of buying something New that was not going to be used alot afterwards.
Tried Ebay and managed to get a great bargin excellent service from a true ebayer and hopefully everybody is a winner.

I find this site great not only for bargins but also a great way to move unwanted goods.
