) With the exception of the 'Dinosaur Planet' series, there are no other dino doc's that are as rich in detail, artistry, science and entertainment as this series.
Fell in love with it when it first aired on the BBC and was keen to get the first series and the special episodes as a gift for my children. They absolutely love this program and it's great to see that they take note of the facts on sizes and types of dinosaur to habitats and the time-scale of these creatures evolution.
My kids are twins aged 7 and eldest aged 9 and they are walking encyclopedias on the subject. That is what you get with this package, a visually stunning series that will educate as well as entertain, for adults and children alike.
Cant wait to see the look on their faces when we go to see the live show!!

) This combines education with entertainment, you can't beat it! Furthermore, and to my surprise, my 7 year old I'm-mad-about-dinosaurs son found the "extras" on the DVDs as fascinating as the actual programs themselves, if not more so. For instance, how to "make" the dinosaurs come to life, the animatronics and the CGI. Great stuff, and for grown-ups too.

amzing box set worth buying you dont only get walking with dinosaurs but the ballad of big al and land of dinosaurs aswell. if you like dinosaurs you'll love this box set. there is nothing bad about this box set at all. i bought this box set because i saw the series on tv and decided that i would love to watch it again.
