what can i say but awsome!! this dvd is a must for all bc fans and fans of 80,s stadium rock.the dvd contains videos from all of the bands released singles and spans the bands carear from 1982 -2000.
big country are probably one of the most underated bands their era wwhich sold over 10 million albums worldwide and had over 20 top 40 uk singles spanning a carer of over 18 years

Big Country were a band I liked from the beginning, the sound of Stuart Adamson's guitar style which followed him from the Skids was a plus for me. They are a band that will always have a place in my top ten albums, especially the Crossing and Steeltown.

Big Country were a brilliant rock band of the 1980s and 1990s,the reason i perchased this dvd is because it has all the vidios of there singles that they released, it takes me back to see them again but now i can watch them when i like and think back to those days in the early 1980s when i was a teanager and had no worries, the best band that ever was as far as i am concerned.

Have been looking for a definitive dvd recording of this bands best known and best loved work for ages so as soon as i saw this i just had to buy it! Big Country are/were one of the best bands to see live and of their genre probably THE best.All their videos that accompany their tracks are varied,often humerous but always excellent and interesting to watch. All their songs have beautiful harmonies,riffs and soulful delivery and this dvd captures all of this. A definite MUST BUY item for the purist Big Country or indeed any true rock fan.

Having been a great fan of the Skids it was natural to have a liken for Big Country or in fact anything that the late Stuart Adamson was involved with. This compilation has the videos of all listed tracks and truly is a trip down memory lane for those of us who were around in the eighties strutting our stuff (so to speak) The videos sadly were never as memorable as the actual tunes but still make for entertaining viewing. That said I would not part with it and must have watched it a dozen times since purchase.
I cant believe and would never admit now that i actually owned similar clothes as worn in some of the videos.
A bit cheesy as I have mentioned but great to see the lads together and well in happier times. Not nearly as entertaining as live shows that I have but recommend getting old mates together for a beer and a trip of nostalgia, as good a night in then most of the rubbish across the channels on our TV's these long dark nights. Dont forget though. If you feel like a little embarrassing for the band members and their dress code at times, close your eyes and enjoy the treat of those great caledonian guitar riffs and melodies. you wont be disappointed.

MUSIC ,WE REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.THIS GROUP PUT TO SHAME THE WORK OF THE SO CALLED SIXTIES SUPER GROUPS.THIS EIGHTIES GROUP NEVER HIT SUPER STATUS I DON;T KNOW WHY ,THEIR MUSIC IS FAR MORE INTRICATE.THE LYRICS TAKE SOME UNDERSTANDING FOR AN OLDIE LIKE ME BUT THE TUNES STAY WITH YOU LONG AFTER LISTENING,ONE GREAT THING IS MY FAVOURITE ,AT THE MOMENT,AND THIRTEEN
VALLEYS MY HUSBAND LOVES JUST A SHADOW AND PEACE IN OUR TIME. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A LOVELY DVD,I JUST FOUND OUT THE LEAD SINGER KILLED HIS SELF,SUCH A SHAME ,

A fun DVD, with numerous lovely Big Country Tracks, against a variety of videos. Well constructed and very enjoyable.

I thought I already owned most Big Country tracks on DVD but this shows lots of videos previously unseen by myself which makes a good documentary of Big Country's singles - a must for any Big Country fan.

DVD is great but this 2002 issue has 22 tracks, one issue has 24 with the bonus tracks 'Alone' and 'Ships' on - anyone know the code no. or which year the DVD was issued with the 24 instead of 22 tracks? TIA
