As funny as when I first saw it
We have recently come to the end of the second series, and starved for a laugh, I rushed and bought the boxed copy of series one. Its just as good. often charcters in a sitcom take a while to reach maturity, but the writing's just as sharp, and the personalities beautifully drawn from the off.
Jim Parson in particular justifies his grammy nomination with a hilarious and minutely detailed portrayal of high functioning autism, and the contrast with his sexually desperate, but superintelligent friends is a masterpiece of writing. I love it. Bring out your inner geek, sit him in his usual spot on the sofa, and enjoy.
