Benidorm - Series 1 - Complete (DVD)

This series was the definitive of life on a package holiday.(If you are lucky !!!) The characters are acheingly funny,and drawn to perfection by the entire cast. We had my two teen-age American Grandsons here for a month,and having seen the latenight repeats they begged me to buy the DVD. They not only watched them over and over,they entertained every kid in the road with them as well!It probably was the easiest stay we've ever had with them!I am a fanatic of "Benidorm" and am longing for the 2nd series on DVD.( And so are my Grandsons when they come back for Christmas!!!)I'm sure that we have all encountered at least some of the characters in "Benidorm" for real!? Which makes it all the more hilarious.Some of them become almost like personal friends because they seem so familiar.I LOVE IT !!!!!

Sat & watched all 6 episodes in one afternoon - fabulously funny, great entertainment. Have to get hold of series 2!

I saw series 2 on the TV and had missed series 1 so thought i would buy it. It was even better than the 2nd series. It was just so funny and made me laugh, it was so life like in a funny way. Things do happen on package holidays and putting them together was great.

This TV series about the antics of a group of diverse "all inclusive" holidaymakers staying at the Solana Apts Benidorm is a gem. It had me laughing out loud more than once & the casting is inspired with plenty of well known names. My personal favorites are middle aged swingers Jacqueline & Donald portrayed by Janine Duvitski & Kenny Ireland.
I`ll be one of the first to get series 2 when it comes out in November.
It really is sun & fun in Benidorm - hilarious in fact.

It is one of the best DVD's ever!!! Really funny, I LOVE IT! Can't wait for series 2 to come out. All the characters are superb but I have to say I really do like the swingers....ha ha ha. Such a great show!

It is the funniest series since Fawlty Towers and Only Fools & Horses, if you like those you will like this!

What can one say about this very funny series, it was a big hit on the tv and will certainly be a big hit in DVD form too, I cant wait for series two to be released. The rude language can be a bit strong in parts, so it would be totally unsuitable for young children to watch. The only disappointing part I found was, it was'nt long enough, I thought there were six weekly half hour episodes when it was shown on the television the first time, but the DVD only shows the first four of them, but its still worth buying.

What a brilliant series, but why only 30 minutes long each episode? More of these please ITV You can't believe us Brits, get up too so much mayhem on holiday. What am I talking about "YES" I can believe it after having a couple of holidays on the "COSTAS". And thinking about it now. But good old British humour never did anyone any harm

I HAD NEVER SEEN THE FIRST SERIES OF BENIDORM WHEN IT WAS ON TV BUT I HAVE WATCHED THE SECOND SERIES ON TV AND THOUGHT IT WAS SO FUNNY AND MADE ME LAUGH. TO BE HONEST I FOUND SERIES ONE TO BE MORE HILARIOUS THAN THE SECOND ONE AND I AM THOUROUGHLY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE. MY FAMILY AND I LOVED IT AND BUYING FROM EBAY YOU JUST KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO GET A BARGAIN. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE. I WILL BE PURCHASING SERIOUS 2 FROM EBAY WHEN I FIND IT.

if you want to watch something funny on friday night then benidorm is the one to watch . great fun for all family its just a great program .i bought the first seriers after watch the second seriers just go out and buy it 5stars to all the actors

fantastic series really funny and entertaining carnt wait for series two.once you start watching it you carnt stop you just have to carry on and find outwhat on earth is going to happen next. Wiuld definatley recommend it a ++++++++

Brilliant dvd laughed all the way through. I didnt see the first series but started to watch the second series. The stories are so funny a must watch

Laugh a minute with this disfunctional family set in blackpool of the costa bravo.

It was very funny from the start until the end. We have all just finished watching series 3, heres to the next of many new series we hope.

Absolutely hilarious! Typical English humour! Recommended for a good night of comedy! Laughs aplenty!

Absolutely love this series! Makes me laugh from start to finish! Great acting, true comedy packed with hillarious one liners! Would defy anyone to watch this and keep a straight face :)
