Ben Mills - Picture Of You (CD 2007)

This bloke can really thing, most the songs are covers, I would love to hear some original songs from him, If he gets a good writer and band behind him he could do very well.

This is a good CD and pleased to have purchased it.I think that this is the only CD Ben Mills has made but I do like his voice and I think he would have made more if he had won x factor television show.

wanted this cd for ever. kept asking for it for birthdays, xmas and mothersday. ended up getting it myself. its the only cd in my car at the moment so as the kids cant change it. HA HA HA

Never thought I would ever buy an X factor CD, however because of track 10 (which I love) I thought I would check out the rest of the material. It was a pleasure. Friends have heard it in the car and asked who it was and have bought their own copy. Not only has this guy got great hair, he can certainly sing. His interpretation of Maggie is a pleasant change from the Rod wanna bees. Well done Ben!

I bought this CD as I really enjoyed watching him on X Factor and thought I would enjoy his CD. I found it a little boring to begin with the first say five tracks basically sounding alike. But it did liven up towards the end. Not great CD but easy listening and will keep in collection.

quite a good album. its grows on me everytime i listen to it. He was realy good on x-factor so i thought id get hold of the album.If you enjoyed ben on x-factor you will enjoy this album....

Like the album a lot, it has got a lot of singable tunes on it no matter what type of song you like to hear. He's got a real 'stand-out' voice that really shot him so far ahead of the competition in the early stages of the show, right through to the final stages without faltering. While the rest, especially Leona, trawled a lot for the sympathy vote; Ben got through on ability alone. I'm a huge fan.

This talented young man has a unique voice, not unlike that of Rod Stewart but, in my opinion, better. For me, whatever song he tackles, he succeeds in putting over the song's message with such quality. 'Beside You' is a swingy track which suits Ben's voice well; Amazed and Nothing But The Truth are ballads and both benefit from his gravelly voice; Maggie May has been taken from Rod Stewart and made into Ben's own, with his great style. Anytime You Fall and Somebody To Love are my favourites; Ben puts such great feeling into them. I don't think there are any tracks on this album which I don't like although my least favourite is the title song 'Picture Of You'. If you enjoy something a bit different but without being overbearing and too popsy, then this album is a great buy.
