Totally gross, but - hey - it's Tim Burton!

A wonderful director, the usual cool music, a young Winona Ryder in a wonderful gothic role. It's a classic! Funny and definately entertaining. Also, weird, disturbing and gross... in a good way!

absolutely awesome! classic film showing the early work of the incredible Tim Burton. A must see for EVERYONE!

One of my best films of all time and has to be in everyones dvd collection, Excellent film really as simple as that, also has a soundtrack full of songs that are still stuck in my head to this day :)

l decided to buy beetlejuice as l have seen it before and thought it was a good laugh l enjoy watching it looked at carboots &charity shops was very happy to find it on ebay.harry1.2007

saw it years ago.. and still like it... my family coulnd'nt remember it till i just played it. wow they all want to borrow it now...great movie...

Bought this for Neal, he loves it and actually Stephen and I really enjoyed it too, took me back a few years to when it first came out and i thought Michael Keaton did really well in this part as it took him away from the parts he normally plays!

A very funny film. Lots of laughs!I bought this for my sons as a present for his 22nd birthday and so he watched it first and then gave it to me to watch. I laughed loads as it has so much adult humour as well as a childish feel to it. Excellent movie for a boring night in as it lifts ya mood.

bought it as a gift for my 14 year old son, It is an all time classic film for all ages to enjoy, it has great humour and comedy in it with bizzare characters in the world of the undead and supernatural spoofs. Buy it for yourself your kids, grandkids, even your granny. It's a great film to watch over and over again.I never get bored of this film, the characters in this film are great.When the new people move into there house and they try to get rid of them it is so funny,especially when there daughter helps the ghosts.

Film that my daughter has liked since its first release. I have been looking for this dvd for a long time, and was really pleased to find it. It was the fourth one i bid on and was lucky enough to win. I decided to buy it as it was a film that we have searched for, for a long time.

Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin are all fav actors of mine, so that was enough for me to watch the movie.
Based on the original animated cartoon version, Beetlejuice is full of scary moments and lots of laughs.
Also gracing the screen was a then very young Winona Ryder whom in the beginning, is the only one that can see the ghosts and beetlejuice himself.

Remember, if you want the ghost with the most, all you've got to do is say his name three times.....Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

It may take two or three viewings to warm up to "Beetlejuice". It has a kooky, cockeyed sensibility and a rhythm that is by turns easy, lazy and frenetic. A charming couple in New England die and come back to their beloved home as ghosts, determined to rid the place of the horrendous new tenants. Possibly the most benign and engaging performance ever by Alec Baldwin; Geena Davis, Winona Ryder and Sylvia Sidney are also very appealing. The new couple from New York who take over the house (Jeffrey Jones and Catherine O'Hara) aren't as well written or thought-out as the other characters and some of their bemused, dry-ice comic lines take a few seconds to reach you. Of course, there's Michael Keaton, wildly comic as Betelgeuse. I heard a lot of comments back in 1988 that Keaton wasn't around enough to make the picture worthwhile, but that's only if you only watch the film for the fast quips and sight-gags. Keaton is truly wonderful, but he's also bombastic, and I felt there was just enough of him to satisfy--it's really not his story anyway, it belongs to Baldwin and Davis; Betelgeuse is used as a horny, vulgar punchline. Director Tim Burton is very careful not to overload the movie with raunch; he is surprisingly careful in setting up this story, and he works magic within a dubious scenario: a comic fantasy about dead folks which ultimately celebrates life!!!

MICHEAL KEATON IS EXCELLENT AS BEETLEJUICE. YOU CAN WATCH IT AS A FAMILY CHILD AGE 7+ AS IN PARTS IT IS A BIT SCARY FOR THE VERY YOUNG, AND ALSO FOR ADULTS DUE TO HOW SOME SCENES ARE SPOKEN & PLAYED.
I THINK THIS FILM IF NOT ALREADY WILL BECOME A CULT CLASSIC.
I NEVER TIRE OF WATCHING IT.

Another seasonal halloween one to bring out - not recommended for young children to watch alone first time as there are some scarey parts with good camera work in it!

Very funny as well as poignant and a DVD watched by all the family and generations to come will enjoy.

I decided to buy Beetlejuice because I remember watching it years ago. I watched it the first night I recieved it. The reason I rated it Good, not excellent, because it was not as I remembered it. There was various amounts of comedy scenes in it, but it was not as funny as I remembered it to be. It is a good family film though, great to watch with your children and popcorn. I would recommend this film to everyone!

Allways loved this film couldnt miss it at the price really pleased with every aspect fast dilivery good quality recomended very highly.

i liked the price and quick delivery of the product,,,,,,what i didnt like im sorry to say that the dvd looks like a copy,as,the disc is the silver cover on both sides nothing obvious to know what the dvd is,,,that was dissapiontng

i got it for my 10 year old son as i always loved it as a child [its a classic] my son has watched it so many times i have lost count /we watched it the first time togetherand could not stop laughing it is such an enjoyable film to watch many thanks donna

It`s hilarious. It doesn`t have to be real to be funny. M.K. is brilliant. If you didn`t know it was him you would never guess. An old film, but a classic.

I've loved this film since I was a kid; I was a bit wierd like Lydia (Winona). Bought this film on DVD because I want my daughter to watch it too. It's rated 15, but I think that's a very cautious rating. My daughter's 8, she loves Dr Who & other "scary" stuff & I personally think that if this film were released/rated today it'd be a PG.
THIS FILM IS ALMOST GUARANTEED TO BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY-O (in Tim Burton's typically humourous gothic way).

i love this film thats why i bidded i cant wait to get it this film has good stars in it i also like the music in it at the end
