The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (CD 1992)

So far, out of the 7 cd's I own from the Beatles. I would have to say, this disc far out ways the others.
What a brilliant cd. A credit to the artists!
Certainly worth a listen.

Voted the best album of all time in Rolling Stone magazine. Its very good, but the best of all time. I am sorry i do not agree. I have enjoyed it, and Lennon/McCartney compositions are as always very good,but i have heard far better albums than this. I for one think Help is better or The White Album.
Glad i bought this album though.

A Must have for any Bettles fan........the first songs is such an amazing opener, it certainly does lift you of your feet.

If you haven't bought this yet, then what are you waiting for??? This album is excellent.It was brought out when love was everywhere and The Beatles were at their peak.Every track on this is a gem.It is timeless and you'll know every song.Bid on a copy now, put it on the CD player, preferabally in the car and sing along to the heyday of love and The Beatles.Very nostalgic.

Why I bought this? Well, I can nearly remember when it came out and this music was part of my growing up. Still very good to listen to with some real classics on it. A must for all Beatles fans!

Absolute rubbish. Nowhere near as good as their earlier stuff. I felt really let down by what is supposed to be their "greatest album ever!!!"

I had already got the original LP, but I have been replacing my record collection on CD. By shopping on eBay I have been able to do this at very reasonable prices and excellent quality of products, with the above item being a very good example.

one of the most important of the beetles albums, tho in my oppinion not the best! still a great album which shows off lennon/mcartney and even george harrisons lyrical genious!! there are many songs on the album that wont catch you ammedietly but your find yourself listening to them over and over again!

Ground breaking album when first released took pop music into the fifth dimension....With the very physcadelic`Lucy in the sky`to the mind boggling `A day in the life`...Their music was`Getting better...all the time`...Within you & without you` as it were.People were trying to read too much into the lyrics which evidently gave it a mystic~much to John`s pleasure.Which he played upon for years after.I myself preferred Revolver,but a cracking album all the same...8/10

The seller was not patient enough to wait for the payment as it was sent with in the payment time,A case was opened on my account because he claimed no payment had been made when he had received it and this was even before he had emailed me to see if payment had been sent to him, then I checked my bank statement to see if the cheque had been cashed and it had therefore i asked him to close the case and he replied back with "NO BECAUSE PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN CLEARED".
After many inexperienced replys off him I opened a case on him and requested his phone number and after numerous attempts to phone him I got no answer.

By reading his negative feedback it explains by other customers what he is like.
Which you are probably asking why I didn't check the feedback myself before buying off him and the answer is because I am new to E Bay and did not know that I could view it. But i have now learned to do so in the future.

To all buyers AVOID BUYING FROM hilton-jaz,its really not worth the risk

Simply a classic album from one of the undisputed best ever bands! A must have in anyones CD collection!

It has taken till now for me to replace my well-worn vinyl of this album. I have always felt this was The Beatles at their absolute best!! I'm wearing this CD down well - and I still feel the same!!The variety of 'themes' on this album is just superb!!

I've had this on vinyl for years & decided I wanted to play it in car so bought cd. Its an album where I can't skip a track, I have to listen to it fom start to finish.
My favourite tracks are A Day In The Life, She's Leaving Home & Lovely Rita. Also includes With A Little Help From My Friends, When I'm Sixty-Four & Lucy In The sky With Diamonds.

This album is an excellent example of The Beatles' later work and is in the form of a 'concept' album, telling the stories of various people. There is a theme of isolation, loneliness or being left alone that runs through the songs. Some of the best known are "With a Little Help From My Friends, "Sixty-Four" and "She's Leaving Home". Throughout, the album has a meloncholy feeling, but the music and harmonies are superb, with many 'sing-a-long' tracks.

If you remember Long Players - and if you have even hummed a beatles tune inadvertantly, then this is THE album that was a soundtrack to a generation of people of a certain age and yes, you are probably one of them.
Unlike today's bands who release albums with one or maybe two tracks you know on them, this one is an instant singalong with every single track. - Every song on here is a classic and I mean that in the truest sense of the word - and hey! I'm not even a Beatles fan!
If you have only room for one beatles album in your cd rack then make it this one - you will be glad you did!
Who else would write a song about a parking attendant? - and the classic She's leaving home still tugs at teh heartstrings after all these years - and of course there were no videos to back up the songs in those days - what you saw was declaimed by the music only - no visual simuli needed. -

I know it was the Buggles that sang Video killed the radio star, but that's probably coz John and Paul had never heard of video!

Widely viewed as their masterpiece, Sgt Pepper is still the biggest selling album ever in the UK. Another great album with many classics including Lucy In The Sky and A Day In The Life.

Was able to purchase this item without any trouble at all. I wanted to buy this CD for long time. This is one of the best albums of all time. The sheer variety of songs and styles used by The Beatles is amazing. If you dont buy this album, you will miss out!

OK Condition

Case appeared a bit worn, however it was delivered in good time and well packaged. There is no point in me commenting on tracks that are over 40 yrs old as their time longeviety speaks for themselves. It's a fantastic album and deservadbly is the best album af all time.

I was given this album the first time around in 1967 {in Vynl} as a 21st birthday present I played it so much{on my dansett record player} I wore it out Its nice to have it again on CD its as good now as it was then This in my opinion the greatest album The Beatles ever made
