I was at uni when this came out so brings back great memories. Along with my late wife I an ardent Beatles fan my children were brought up on their music. There nothing I dislike about my purchase. I have my old vynil but wanted it on cd.

HELP was the last Beatles album to feature a cover version (Larry Williams's "Dizzy Miss Lizzie"), and is considered a turning point in the quality of their songwriting. Like the previous album's "Im a Loser", "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" was Lennon's nod to the influence of Bob Dylan. McCartney's gift for melody was obvious in "I've Just Seen A Face". And Harrison's songwriting contributions grew to two tracks.
Instrumentally, "Ticket To Ride"'s off-beat rhythm was Ringo's masterpiece, while the string quartet in the huge hit "Yesterday" was unusual for a rock band at that time; it was the start of a stellar series of McCartney ballads with strings ("Eleanor Rigby", "She's Leaving Home").

I am replacing my vinyl collection and this was one of the rcords on my 'hit list'. A classic collection of early beatles masterpieces, the film was rubbish but I couldn't resist!

The film came out while I was at school, I was 13, and it was seemed so ahead of its time. Saw the film again recently and it is still magic! Not too dated. The album was a necessary addition to my modest CD collection.

I must admit I saw the film from which this is a sound track & it remindered me of the brillant music that was written all those years ago & still stands the test of time excallent

The Beatles help soundtrack, one of their best albums from the early years (60's) tracks from the film and some extras. What else is there to say, the fab four at their fabest with some classic tracks. Bought it after watching the film ( again) and have had it in the player ever since

Well what can one say about the Beatles that has'nt already been said,we all know what an excellent band they were, even after they broke up and went their separate ways, in their own right they became still more famous. The Beatles will always go on generation after generation. And their vinyl records will now become a rarity to collectors, now everything is on cd. Like the title of one of their records "Yesterday" that is exactly what they are a "Yesterday group" and a very good one.

I bought this soundtrack because I had it as an LP some years ago and wanted to have the CD of it. The tracks on it are very good.

I loved the Film. The Beatles are the best band ever. Ilove all the songs on the cd especially the night before.
